We had dinner here today - 8 people. The service was absolutely fantastic right from the time we entered the restaurant; staff were very polite, friendly and quick at attending to us. The food: it will be hard to beat the taste and authenticity of the dishes serviced - we ate a lot. We would have loved to thank the chef for giving us such a wonderful experience. We love quite far but went to the restaurant due to the rave reviews, which didn’t let us down. Thank you again for the service and the dishes, we will be back!

Perennially stupendous South Indian food. Every dish an absolute blinder, always over-order, always leave utterly utterly stuffed, always extraordinary good value. A fine dining establishment indeed. Worth a very big detour to get there.

Visited on a week day for dinner. Had the Barotta, (ordered more than one portion, think savoury crispy pankcake), King Prawn Fry, absolutely delicious. Coming just for that! Full of flavour, ate every single piece. Also ordered chicken fried rice & Mutton fried rice (came in a leaf). Very long menu, however the staff member was wonderful and helped us navigate the menu. We’ll be back, thank you.

Gigantic portion! Really really nice crab, I highly recommend it and the stir fried squid. Staff are very friendly and attentive. I will definitely save some space to try the ice creams next time.

Decided to try Kerala food, something I'm not very familiar with. After seeing videos on social media on Southern Indian food, so I Google'd best Kerala restaurants and this came up (along with a few others, but this had 7.1k reviews with averaging 4.7 at the time), so decided to make the journey to come here. Very impressed with the quality of the food, and the flavours. Very different to what we're used to. The poppadoms with the chutney was a something out of the ordinary, particularly the lemon chutney, it went very well with the poppadoms. We also ordered parathas, lamb chop bhuna, Kerala king prawn curry, dosa, and the fish pollichathu (stream cooked in banana leaf). The prices were reasonable. Would I come here again ? absolutely, definately worth making the long drive for.

We came here on the stellar recommandation of a friend, and they were right all along! The food was excellent all around, it felt genuine, it was very tasty and filling, plus there were many options and variants to choose from, from vegetarian to a wide range of meats. They also had a unique soft drink (at least for us), and kulfi. The staff was very attentive and nice, service was fast too. We had dinner here, and the place filled up quite quickly. The location itself is tastefully lavish, and welcoming, with music playing indian songs on a medium-low volume, mostly for atmosphere. It also seemed to be family-friendly, and many groups of people came, from families to groups of friends, and couples.

We enjoyed authentic South Indian food at Udaya Keeala. The food was full of flavour, it was fresh and most of it was a true representation of South Indian cuisine. I will highly recommend the masala Dosa, Keralan Chicken Fry, Mutton Roast, and borotta. The service was excellent, very attentive and they were always eager to answer all our questions. They were very polite and friendly, too. We felt very welcomed and taken care of. With the excellent service and great food, our overall experience was very pleasant and we will be coming back.

A small restaurant tucked somewhere in East Ham, serves absolutely amazing Kerela food. If one is familiar with the cuisine, this place will offer you a difficult life decision of choosing your order, and not over ordering because all of it looks so good ! We have been here a few times. I have only tried the Kerela specials and keep going back for more. Highly recommend. If you go there, I would say be adventurous and try the menu which is not common in other British Indian restaurants.
